This is my latest wild tangent. One of the ladies in The Bead Society of Kansas City gave the members sample chips from a store that was closing. Artbeads.com gave the society packets of beads for the members to review. I thought, now what can I do with seven pearls? A bracelet? Both the chip and the pearls were right there on my beading table, and the pearls just fit like they belonged. So off I went. I backed the chip with a nice piece of grey leather to match and make the piece more comfortable to wear. The necklace is heading down to Paola, Kansas to the D'Marie Gallery, where someone might decide it is just the unusual piece they were looking for.[Photo]

About Me

SaundraG
I have been beading about 15 years, started out stringing and now claim off-loom weaving as my favorite. Of course I love sparkly crystals too. I am also interested in Genealogy, have found many friends (distant, distant cousins) during that pursuit. I love animals, but am not owned by any at the present.
